Checkers Tile

Always one for trying to keep kids busy, this was a must have! I took a 12x12 tile added a grid made out of vinyl to make a good sturdy "board" for checkers. With rowdy boys those flimsy cardboard ones don't hold up too well around here. I even went the extra "mile" and made their checkers pieces by stamping their names onto metal washers. Word of advice, if you are a crazy perfectionist don't attempt to do this! (Hence no pictures of said pieces...)
