Soup or Soap?

My friend just did an awesome job remodeling her bathroom with her husband and she wanted a sign to hang in it.  When she first gave me the quote is said "Soup is to the body what laughter is for the soul."  I was a little confused since I thought it was for a bathroom and I couldn't figure out what soup had to do with a bathroom so I double-checked with her.  Good thing I did since she totally just had a "typo" moment!  We both enjoyed a good laugh and this is the beautiful sign that came out of it all.  Angee, hope you enjoy your new sign and that you remember to laugh about something everyday!

Off to the Races!

There is a wonderful place out there in the world of the internet called Pinterest.  If you aren't familiar with it yet, you should be!  Just leave me a request for an invite in the comments and I'll be happy to oblige;)  This fun display board for racing bibs was inspired by a pinterest find.  My big sis just needed a little help with some vinyl lettering and she was set.  Looks awesome Ashleigh!  (I think I like this one better than the one I have pinned...)

Mr. & Mrs.

For my older sister who recently got engaged I made this fun set of mugs.  I got the idea from my new favorite love: pinterest!  If you haven't joined then maybe you shouldn't.  It is an addiction.

Love and Marriage

September was a busy month for weddings and this lucky couple was one of many to receive their first piece of personalized art for their new homes.  Making things that remind us of the most important thing there is: our families, is one of my favorite things to do!  Congratulations everyone!!

Getting Organized!

I can't believe that I am even showing this chaotic mess of a closet;)  I should just stick with the close-ups and pretend to be one of those fake moms whose children have perfectly organized rooms and never make messes!  I decided that some serious organization with a flair of cute was in order for my children's room.  Enter IKEA and some fabulous toy bins and then some vinyl  labels to make it easy for everyone to pick things up and put them where they go.
